Desserts are something that is the most important part of every meal. Like how soups act as an appetizer, this is just how you finish your dinner. If you have guests coming home and have no time then this simple chocolate Mousse is just for you because it only takes and chilling time. All these desserts need is two cups of heavy cream, three ounces of unsweetened chocolate and half a cup of sugar. The procedure is very simple. You need to heat half a cup of cream in a saucepan under medium flame just till it begins to boil. After this you need to cut the chocolate into fine pieces and put it in a bowl. Your next course if to pour in the hot cream and stir it just once and keep it aside covered. Desserts as this require you to also whip the remaining cream and sugar in another bowl just till they start to form soft structures. The mixture that you made above needs to be stirred well with a wooden spoon if possible so that it all gets melted and becomes one. Now you just fold in the cream and let it chill for two hours. You can go ahead and make changes to the ingredients too. If you just like plain chocolate this mousse can be served without the cream and just with strawberries and the like. You can even try the lemon mousse. The procedure is a bit elaborate as it requires you to add cornstarch and sugar with lemon and water. This is what acts as the base. You also whip egg white till it forms peaks and then fold them into the mouse and chill for about an hour. Then you also whip the cream as above and chill it for another half hour. You can create a lot of other desserts too based on your interest and see how things work. Like I said earlier, these are what add the perfect finish to your dinner or lunch and gives the best effect at the end.
